👉 We are seeking an inspirational Engineering Manager to lead our technical team, drive our engineering strategy, and play a pivotal role in our company’s growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company, take on significant responsibilities, and help shape the future of AI-driven cybersecurity, reporting directly to our CTO.

Engineering Team: 13 Engineers (including 5 Interns), 2 Technical Leads, 1 Designer
Develop & Execute the Engineering Strategy: Work in close collaboration with the CEO and CTO, ensuring that our technical roadmap aligns with our business goals and drives innovation.
Build Product Vision: Work with the Product Manager to conduct roadmap, project management, and day-to-day organization.
Make People Grow and Increase their Performance: Manage a team of 3-6 outstanding engineers, hold regular 1:1s with all members of your team, and mentor Tech Leads.
Scale Engineering: Hire and manage new talented engineers, conduct interviews for candidates, and support Escape’s growth.
Optimize Processes: Understand engineering KPIs and use them as a management tool, improving team reliability and velocity.
Innovate: Drive the adoption of deep technologies and methodologies, maintaining Escape’s position as a leader in AI cybersecurity.
Frontend:
Svelte with TypeScript for high-performance, intuitive UIs.
GraphQL for efficient data querying and responsive applications.
Backend — API:
Node.js for server-side logic and GraphQL APIs powered by Yoga, Pothos and Prisma for scalable architecture.
PostgreSQL for secure, efficient database management.
Kafka for high-performance, event-driven systems.
Backend — Deep Tech:
Python for AI and algorithmic development, driving our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.

Proven Leader: You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 1+ year in leadership roles where you’ve successfully built and scaled high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
Bilingual Proficiency: Perfectly fluent in both French and English, enabling effective communication in a bilingual environment.
Strategic Visionary: You excel at setting and executing an engineering strategy that aligns with company objectives and drives innovation, with a track record of delivering impactful results.
Technical Authority: You bring deep expertise in both frontend (Svelte or Vue) and backend (GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Kafka) technologies, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of software development and DevSecOps practices.
