The position

Job description

Main duties

Reporting to the Director Finance, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Accounting

  • Data update in Proactis PMC platform.

  • Cooperation with the Proactis supplier in the field of problems and errors.

  • Checking the correctness of invoices (e.g. VAT) posted on Proactis.

  • Daily support for Proactis users, training for new users.

  • Reconciliations between PPTC invoices and data in the ETS system.

  • Posting PPTC invoices.

  • Posting bank statements, expense reports, credit card statements, AMEX.

  • Preparing payments for suppliers.

  • Creating new supplier accounts in the SUN system and in the banking system.

  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts.

  • Preparation of accruals for French entity, reconciliation of bank accounts (HSBC/BNP) and other end of month tasks.

  • Forecast preparing.

Skills

  • University degree required with at least 3 years of experience within Accounting Department of an international company

  • Flexible attitude and proactive

  • Ability to determine priorities and independent worker

  • Very good organization of own work

  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles

  • Very good knowledge of tax law, especially VAT (import of services)

  • Previous experience in preparation of statutory accounts and tax reports using local accounting software

  • Experience with databases and e-commerce tools

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office with and advanced experience in Excel usage)

Languages required

  • French and English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
