The position

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in the Korea market. You will be responsible for creating and executing on marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and support business growth in the region. This position will report to Country Manager.

Main Duties

  • Build and own the marketing process, including product marketing, strategy development, community building, and content marketing.

  • Create data-driven marketing plans targeting customer acquisition and growth.

  • Own the brand voice, tone, editorial style and content guidelines across the marketing team.

  • Strongly hold in integrating various marketing disciplines including but not limited to branding, sales, communications, Digital Marketing, CRM, Media, creative and consumer experience.

  • Work closely with central marketing and social media experts to establish our digital presence in the Korea market.

  • Evaluate, forecast, and develop key marketing goals that facilitate the business’ performance.

  • Plan, manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure healthy financials.

  • Skilled in data analysis, consumer, and market insights to determine the best result-oriented approach.

Preferred experience

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising, communications, digital marketing or similar from a reputable university.

  • 10+ years of marketing experience at a successful consumer education technology brand.

  • Have a track record of success as a marketer and team leader.

  • Full funnel marketing experience, including social media, influencers, PR, partnerships, etc.

  • Result-driven mentality, turning the strategies into actionable plans.

  • Data driven mindset and ability to understand analytics and measure marketing action’s performance.

  • Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO, funnel analytics, community management, etc.

  • Excellent aptitude for detail and accuracy and analytical skills.

Languages required

  • Fluent in Korean and English both verbal and written.
