The position

Job description

Reporting to the Regional Leader, you will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, managing key client relationships, and driving the growth of the TOEFL iBT program in the region. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility of the TOEFL test among educational institutions and increasing test volumes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Interactions:

    • Engage with existing partners to grow TOEFL iBT volume.

    • Develop and maintain a pipeline for new clients, including government agencies, universities, high schools, and scholarship organizations.

  • Partnership Development:

    • Boost TOEFL awareness among Local universities, bilingual high schools, and relevant government agencies through campus visits and presentations.

    • Create and execute action plans and strategies to enhance TOEFL presence and volumes in the region.

    • Serve as the local contact for TOEFL iBT and GRE stakeholders.

    • Deliver TOEFL iBT teacher development workshops and participate in English language conferences to promote TOEFL.

  • Strategic Initiatives:

    • Collaborate with agents to implement commercial initiatives that increase TOEFL volumes.

    • Develop unique projects, such as the TOEFL ecosystem, involving partnerships between high schools, universities, and TOEFL brands.

    • Assist institutions in creating TOEFL iBT preparation courses and guide them on effective marketing strategies.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Conduct outreach to encourage TOEFL score users to apply for DI codes and facilitate their applications.

    • Audit existing testing centers and recruit new ones to alleviate constrained markets.

    • Manage day-to-day operations with partners and coordinate efforts to achieve strategic goals.


Preferred experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development or relationship management, with a proven track record of success in building strategic partnerships in the region.

  • Experience working in or with institutions of higher education.

  • Strong understanding of the regional market landscape, including key trends, customer segments, and competitive dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluency in English.

    This role will require travel.
