Job Description

The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s cloud security architecture. This role involves collaborating with various departments, including IT, business units, and compliance teams, to ensure that cloud security measures are effectively integrated and managed.

The Cloud Security Architect plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization’s cloud infrastructure by designing and implementing robust security solutions. The Architect ensures that the organization’s cloud security strategies are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

This is a group role, requiring coordination of activities across the organization and collaboration with local stakeholders to continuously monitor and improve cloud security practices in response to the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Main Responsibilities :

Cloud Security Implementation and Management:

  • Collaborate with different departments to implement and manage cloud security solutions.
  • Engage with Business Owners, IT, architects, and Operational Security teams to understand and address cloud security requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and analyses to identify potential security gaps in the cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of cloud security efforts.
  • Hands on experience with Azure and AWS to assess feasibility and alternative solutions
  • Ability to develop internal tools and scripts to automate data gathering and technical risk assessment

Cloud Security Architecture Design:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud security architecture practice.
  • Ensure that cloud security measures meet the organization’s security objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and local teams to ensure cohesive cloud security efforts.
  • Coordinate cloud security projects and ensure alignment with policies and regulations

Reporting and Documentation

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of cloud security activities.
  • Produce regular reports on cloud security status and KPIs for various committees.
  • Prepare detailed security assessment reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.


Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in information security, cloud computing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in cloud security or related fields.
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud security solutions.
  • Knowledge of main cloud security frameworks and standards (e.g., CSA, NIST, ISO/IEC 27017).
  • Hands-on on at least Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of Office365, Modern Workplace and identity management is a plus
  • Insurance and financial industry experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
