Job description

What You’ll Do

Ready to take the reins of our e-commerce platform and lead it to new heights? As our E-Commerce Platform Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic development and execution, working hand-in-hand with Product Owners, Application Owners, and global partners. Your mission? To ensure everything runs smoothly and aligns perfectly with our ambitious business goals.

You’ll be the go-to person for overseeing change requests, defining governance frameworks, organizing resources, and making sure everything is on point in Steering Committees. Plus, you’ll deep dive into our backend modernization and optimization project, ensuring all business needs are met. And let’s not forget, you’ll be collaborating with top-notch digital agencies to drive successful developments and integrations, making our platform shine!

Drive Digital Excellence

  • Backend Optimization Project (50%+):
  1. Be the bridge between IT and business teams, making sure everyone is on the same page.

  2. Lead workshops, figure out what’s needed, and keep track of progress.

  3. Keep an eye on project milestones and make sure everything gets done on time.

  4. Take detailed notes during meetings and make sure everyone knows what to do next..

  • E-Shop Platform Development:
  1. Manage the strategic development and implementation of the E-Shop platform across Australia, Canada, and Europe.

  2. Oversee change requests, making sure they’re integrated smoothly. This includes setting up clear decision-making processes, establishing protocols for handling platform updates & change requests, and coordinating with various teams.

  3. Help define governance and organize resources to meet diverse needs.

  4. Get ready for and participate in Steering Committees, providing updates and gathering feedback.

  5. Work closely with digital agencies to make sure developments meet our standards & goals.


Preferred experience

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Project Management: 3-5 years in digital platforms or e-commerce, with a preference for multi-country role experience.

  • Agile Methodologies: Familiar with Agile practices and ceremonies.

  • Industry Knowledge: Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • IT-Business Interface: Proven ability to act as an effective bridge between IT and business functions.

Skills

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Communication: Excellent skills in conveying complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Project Management: Proficient in using tools like Jira or Confluence.

  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
