The position

Europ Assistance (EA) Mobility’s main activity is providing Road-Side Assistance (RSA) to people in distress on the road (accident, breakdown, …)

Roadside Assistance is ~exclusively provided through our 3rd party Network of suppliers: towing trucks, repair specialists, rental car companies, taxi companies. At the heart of all our operations and representing >70% of our costs Network is thus a very strategic department.

The global Mobility Network team is responsible for defining group network strategy and driving performance on both Quality and Cost.

You will be responsible for driving Network performance.

Network performance is measured through a set of 3 main KPIs: EA missions’ acceptance rate, Time To Arrival at client location, Repair On Spot rate. As Manager Network Performance you will be responsible for monitoring and driving performance through 3 main actions:

·       Data analysis: as owner of Network Performance you receive performance metrics through various sources: monthly network reportings, ad-hoc deep dives on specific indicators… you are in charge of analysing this data to identify trends, best practices, weaknesses.

·       Country performance steer: after identifying improvement areas per country you will be responsible for providing ad-hoc support to countries requiring it; typically getting into the root causes of underperformance by requesting and driving the right deep dive analysis; then solving, leveraging both best practices from other countries and innovative solutions.

o   Country performance can include on field visits for closer collaboration with country team.

·       Anticipation: some performance trends are common across countries; an important part of your role is to understand these trends and their impact on Network Performance.

In addition to the above core responsibilities you will participate / lead on an ad-hoc basis:

·       transformative network projects; eg: variabilizaing providers’ remuneration based on quality performance)

·       transverse activites; eg client tenders, ESG deep dive, Cost deep dive, …


Preferred experience

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

·       Excellent educational background, preferably in the fields of business management and engineering

·       Expected experience of 5+ years ideally in one of the following industries: assistance, insurance, industry or consulting.

·       Experience on one of the following specialties: operations, supply chain, data analysis.

·       Fluent English to interact with colleagues from other countries on a daily basis.

·       Problem solving: ability to frame a problem, understand root causes, recommend solution while detailing implications & next steps.

·       Project management: ability to structure, organize and coordinate projects.

·       Good communication skills:  ability to communicate verbally also to senior management, to translate a complex situation into a simple story and to prepare concise and compelling presentations.
