The first step of our process is CO2 to CO electroreduction for which we are currently developing a new technology. It requires the development of dedicated electrodes. Hence, we are looking for a resourceful and highly motivated chemical engineer/Ph.D. with a solid background in chemical engineering, electrochemistry (or other relevant topic) and ideally experience in catalysis synthesis and development.
Being part of our R&D team in Villebon sur Yvette, you will work closely with R&D electrochemists and engineers as your key tasks will include:
· CO2 to CO catalyst development,
· H2O to O2 catalyst development,
· Gas Diffusion Electrode optimization,
· Electrolyzer overall optimization (electrolyte formulation and additives, liquid/gas separation),
· Maintain a wide knowledge on electrolyzer engineering,
Qualification and required skills
· Msc. or PhD. in electrochemistry, chemical engineering or material science.
· 3+ years of experience in R&D.
· Ability to run electrochemical cells at lab scale.
· Analyze and get deep insights of the results.
· Being creative and free to “think out of the box”.

Nice to have skills
· Strong knowledge in electrochemistry (CO2 reduction or H2O oxidation would be a plus).
· Proven experience in catalyst synthesis and electrode manufacturing.
· Knowledge in mechanical conception (CAD software such as SolidWorks, Catia, Fusion360….) and prototyping.
· Knowledge in fluid mechanics.
These companies are also recruiting for the position of “Engineering R&D”.
