The position

Job description

Feedgy has today a rich IT infrastructure providing a robust environment for all its digital services and applications. We have used AWS products to set up a modern containerized architecture orchestrated using Kubernetes. We implement cut-edge CI/CD practices in order to ensure a smooth and automated integration between development and operation.

The main goal of the Software Engineer - Cloud is to contribute to expanding and optimizing our IT infrastructure and architecture, continuously improve our release strategies and orchestrate our IT operations. Example of tasks include:

  • Implement, test and manage automation tools for the IT infrastructure.

  • Implement, test and manage automation tools for server orchestration.

  • Define, develop, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operation.

  • Monitoring automated tools and processes during the entire development cycle.

  • Contribute to the CI/CD strategy and work as a DevOps evangelizer in the tech team.

  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.

  • Monitoring the system experience and obtain meaningful KPIs.

  • Ensuring proper security of software systems and minimizing vulnerabilities.


Preferred experience

Technical skills 

  • Solid and demonstrable experience with many different AWS services;  

  • Experience on, deploying, configuring and automating the most suitable AWS service (using terraform);  

  • De familiar with IAM (users, groups, roles, iam policies,…) , Cognito (including lambda triggers, authentication specifications, …) 

  • Be familiar with CloudFront, EC2 ALB & ELB, VPC (zones, subnets), VPN 

  • Be familiar with RDS (postgres, …) 

  • Be familiar with CloudWatch, CloudTrail 

  • 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, micro services and ecosystem and managing K8s charts using Helm 

  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns 

  • Build, maintain and optimize the CI/CD pipelines and tools such as ArgoCD and Github Actions specifically for machine learning projects. 

  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform) 

  • Familiarity with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks ( Airflow, Argo, etc.) is plus. 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.

Recruitment process

Agile recruitment process with three steps:

  1. Short meeting with the Digital Director (30 min)

  2. Technical Interview with Tech Lead (1h30)
