About the job

Key responsibilities:

  • User-Centric Design Leadership: Lead the creation of intuitive, user-centered designs tailored to the complex needs of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring a seamless and coherent user experience across Filigran portfolio.

  • Design System Development: Establish and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency and adaptability

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with OpenCTI and OpenBAS teams and cybersecurity experts to align design strategies with business objectives and user needs

  • Prototype & Interaction Design: Provide UI prototypes and UX workflows to effectively communicate and validate design solutions, ensuring a smooth handoff to development teams

Preferred experience

Technical skills

  • User Experience (UX) Design: Expertise in crafting user flows, wireframes, and prototypes

  • User Interface (UI) Design: Strong proficiency in visual design, including typography, color theory, iconography, and layout, to create aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces.

  • Design Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma for creating and managing design assets, prototypes, and collaborative design workflows.

  • Prototyping & Interaction Design: Ability to create interactive prototypes that showcase user interactions and transitions, using Figma.

  • Design Systems & Component Libraries: Experience in developing and maintaining scalable design systems and reusable component libraries to ensure design consistency and efficiency.

  • User Research & Usability Testing: Competence in conducting user research, gathering insights through interviews, surveys, and usability tests, and integrating feedback into design iterations.

Required qualities

  • Empathy: A deep understanding of users’ needs and challenges, particularly in the complex field of cybersecurity, to create solutions that genuinely address their pain points.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to think critically and creatively to overcome design challenges and deliver innovative, user-friendly solutions in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and cybersecurity experts.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to quickly adjust to evolving business needs, user feedback, and technological advancements in a growing and dynamic company.
