POSITION OVERVIEW:

An interesting position within a dynamic and international Maison, we are seeking an experienced US Director with a proven track record in the beverage industry to oversee all aspects of the US Team, ensuring operational excellence, commercial growth, and brand success in the market. You will have full P&L responsibility for the country, leading the strategic direction and execution across sales, marketing, and operations. You will work closely with our global team, and the US Sales Director, US Marketing Director, while building a high-performing local structure to drive long-term success.

The ideal candidate will be based in either Miami, Florida, or New York Metro, and will possess a positive history of sales and brand growth in on/ off trade.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP:

  • As VP USA, you will oversee the full P&L, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining operational efficiency.

  • Develop action plans for local/regional markets within the US.

  • Continue building a loyal customer base and proactively identifying prospects.

  • Define and oversee the development strategy for current and future markets in coordination with the CEO, CMO, Director of US Sales, Direct of US Marketing, and the management team.

  • Work in collaboration and cross-functionally with the company’s various departments (marketing, finance, operations, administration, etc.) to achieve best practices and results.

  • Cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit: define sales and marketing strategies.

SALES DEVELOPMENT:

  • Define and implement sales and distribution strategies with the Director of Sales to maximize market penetration.

  • Supervise the sales team, with Sales Director, and contribute to sales strategies: identify leads, anchor negotiations, close contracts, etc.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and hospitality partners.

  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and trade marketing strategies to enhance sales performance.

  • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies accordingly.

BRAND GROWTH & IMAGE:

  • Leverage extensive experience in the beverage industry to drive fast growth in both on and off trade.

  • Be effective throughout the sales and marketing process and contribute to French Bloom’s image in the marketplace

  • Represent French Bloom at external events

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and partners.

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key accounts and distributors.

MARKET ANALYSIS:

  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion.

  • Contribute to market research on a regular basis and coordinate with the marketing department on product and program improvements.

  • Build a sales plan with Director of Sales: organization, forecasts, sales cycles, creation and measurement of targets, monitoring of processes and consolidation of results for review.

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.

  • Analyze sales data to drive informed decision-making.

  • Manage and evaluate the performance of your teams, providing regular feedback and proposing an action plan.

  • Prepare sales reports, analyze competitors’ activities and define actions in correlation with the US Sales Director, CEO and the management team.

OPERATION & SUPPLY CHAIN:

  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, and supply chain to ensure smooth operations and product availability.

  • Work closely with HQ and local team to optimize processes, manage inventory, and forecast demand.

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.

TEAM MANAGEMENT:

  • Lead and manage the US Team, setting performance goals and driving results.

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team.

  • Provide strong team leadership fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.


Preferred experience

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a sales focus, in the beverage industry, general management, commercial leadership, or country management roles, preferably in fast growing beverages, luxury goods and hospitality

  • Proven success in growing brands through strong sales and distribution expertise, with a deep understanding of on-premise, e-commerce, and out-of-home channels Hands-on and adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support market expansion, meet key partners, and oversee operations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, and/or a related field. MBA is a plus.
