Job Description

The Game Manager / Product Owner is a vision holder of the product and is responsible for upholding the product’s strategy and maximizing its impact on the market, during both the creation and live phases. He/she will drive the products from ideation to release and into live operations with the help of a cross-functional team by making strong creative and data driven decisions.

 

Your role:

  • Set the long-term strategy and goals of the product, with the aim of maximizing the top line while optimizing the P&L
  • Ability to take a holistic view of product development, across the creative, marketing / UA, technical and data branches
  • Report on the product's performance as a key contact towards top management, and champion next steps to take
  • Decide and maintain the product roadmap with the team leads, based on a combination of market reality, analytical insights from data, and operational capabilities
  • Lead a cross-functional team (including Design, Production, Marketing, User Acquisition, QA, Monetization etc. and other related groups spread throughout the company organization) to deliver features to the highest quality standards, in alignment with performance goals, and leveraging the best suited toolset
  • Recruit & retain talent in the team, by promoting positive & transparent communication, building a working environment to support technical growth, understanding, and confidence

Preferred experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in product management:

             - Demonstrating strong impact on product KPIs & knowledge on monetization mechanics

             - Owning the product roadmap, business goals, long-term strategy & product backlog

             - Understanding of contemporary market trends (graphics, ergonomics, methodologies etc.)

  • Кnowledge on gaming industry
  • Previous experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
  • Proactive mindset while efficiently organizing and prioritizing tasks for him/her and the team
