Founded in 2010, Getaround is the world's leading carsharing platform, active in over 950 cities across 8 countries: the US, France, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Norway, and the UK. In 2019, Getaround acquired Drivy, one of Europe's biggest carsharing services, and Nabobil, the leading carsharing platform in Norway.
Getaround connects safe, convenient, and affordable cars with people who need them to live and work. People use Getaround to find a car nearby, which they can unlock with their phone, and drive to wherever they want from 1 hour to a month. Our community includes owners who share their cars on the platform, and drivers who rely on them for their on-demand mobility needs.

Carsharing is increasingly becoming the alternative to owning a car. Sharing existing cars promotes a more sustainable use of cars in cities, moving towards demotorization. This results in fewer cars on the road, decreased pollution, more urban space available, and more freedom to move.
Our vision is to live in a world where all cars are shared, and the company’s mission is to improve mobility as well as the quality of life in our cities and communities, while making them more sustainable.
To accelerate towards this objective and make carsharing even more accessible, we’re partnering with key cities in Europe and car manufacturers, and we committed to a fully-electric platform by 2040.
At Getaround, we are looking for people with lots of ideas and ambition who wish to take on challenges every day with humility and good humour. It is the perfect company if you wish to have a strong impact.
We empower teams to figure out “how” we execute our Mission and Vision, and to take ownership and responsibility of solutions that support both the near-term and long-term success of our company.
Winning as a team matters more to us than individual achievements, and we care deeply about the well-being, success and continuous improvement of our colleagues
We strive to create a global culture of positivity, diversity, inclusion, and respect, so that everyone feels safe being who they truly are.
We focus on doing the most important things exceptionally well**, while always measuring and reporting on our progress with honesty and integrity.

Car sharing can reduce mobility-related greenhouse gas emissions by 35% in urban areas (Shift Project 2019).
Quality of life in the city : Carsharing frees up 1.5 to 3 parking spaces on roads (ADEME, 2019). Fewer vehicles = less traffic congestion, fine particulate pollution and noise pollution in urban areas.
