About this role : 

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join our hyper-growing "New Business " Team in our office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. You will be in charge of bringing onboard new e-commerce advertisers on our market leading Cashback (Shoop.de and Igraal.de), Vouchers (Gutscheine.focus.de) and Deals (Mydealz.de) platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Approach and build relationships with potential partners in the German market
  • Pitch our solutions in meetings, both remote and in-person
  • Manage a pipeline of highly potential business partners
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of the partnership agreement
  • Make sure that they are on-boarded properly  on our platforms
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Pioneer new revenue streams and opportunities
  • Expand your network within many diverse industries (Fashion, Food, Travel, Finance, etc) across Germany


Your Profile : 

  • You have 2-4 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in the E-commerce-Industry
  • Very good knowledge of the typical e-commerce key metrics (CPC, CPA, CPM, etc.) 
  • Outstanding partner relationship management skills
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure beneficial long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve unforeseen problems logically and strategically
  • Intercultural awareness and the ability to work in a dynamic matrix organization
  • Entrepreneurial, data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
  • Independent and able to manage your portfolio and the relationships built within effectively 
  • High energy, self-motivated and results-driven
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required

Bonus points if you:

  • Have publisher experience selling to online shops (e.g. price comparison websites)
