GoodAI

Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

Antony Alloin is a Software Engineer at GoodAI, where he works on Charlie Mnemonic, a continual learning agent designed to address the limitations of memory in large language models. His fascination with AI, robots, and automation has been a lifelong journey, beginning with hobby coding and freelancing on projects ranging from apps to games.

Antony joined GoodAI a year ago, driven by his passion for creating intelligent systems that can learn and adapt over time. His work focuses on pushing the boundaries of what LLM's/AI systems can achieve, ensuring that Charlie Mnemonic continually evolves and improves.

Originally from Belgium, Antony loves to tinker with electronics in his free time, often creating robots and small gadgets. When he's not immersed in his engineering projects, he enjoys gaming, particularly playing Space Engineers and Valorant.

Originally, I started working at the company as an AI researcher in 2015. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work on some pretty exciting projects both on basic research and sometimes applied AI. I always liked AI and robotics, so once there was the idea to start working with AI and drones, I knew I wanted to be part of it. Currently, I am working in a small team, where we are looking into opportunities to combine drones, swarm intelligence and state-of-the art AI into some unique products.

When there is a time, I like riding my bike, flying FPV quadcopters, model airplanes, 3D printing, and similar things. But most importantly, I have my wife and two amazing daughters, so I like to spend my time with them.

Martin is a Tech Lead/ Game Producer for the title AI People. Martin joined GoodAI as a research scientist and programmer in 2015 and has been working on various research and applied projects since then. On numerous occasions he led internal teams, for instance he was one of the team leads for a state-of-the-art sound analysis application for an industry customer. Together with his colleague Jan Feyereisl, he worked as a research manager, coordinating the team's research efforts. In 2023 Martin joined the AI People project and has been leading it since towards the release and beyond.

Outside of work Martin loves to spend time with his family and likes a good physical effort - his favorite hobby is climbing, both indoors and outdoors; his favorite type of rock is Czech sandstone. Add a bit of mountaineering here and there with friends or family and what more is there to wish for?

Presentation

GoodAI started as a research and development initiative inside Keen Software House in January 2014, when CEO Marek Rosa invested $10M USD into the project.

At Good AI we are focused on 3 areas

  • LLM/LTM
  • Applied AI & Robotics
  • AI Game development

AI People

At GoodAI, we’re interested in applying AI technology to the video game domain. How can large language models be used to plan the actions of game characters? To improve their conversational skills and expand their personalities? To make interaction with characters engaging and immersive? AI People is a fun sandbox game where you create and play your own scenarios. The game features AI-powered NPCs that learn and interact based on your decisions.

GoodAI Groundstation

We believe that safety should be a human right. GoodAI Groundstation empowers individuals to control drones effortlessly, democratizing safety and making it accessible to everyone.

Our primary areas of focus are crime prevention, search and rescue, wildlife protection and monitoring, among others.

LLM/LTM - Charlie Mnemonic

We are developing Long-Term Memory (LTM) systems to expand LLM agents' context window, enabling continual learning from interactions and environmental dynamics. Our goal is to create agents capable of lifelong learning, using every new experience to enhance future performance.

Our long-term goal is to build general artificial intelligence that will automate cognitive processes in science, technology, business, and other fields. We conduct our own research, advocate fundamental AI research at the EU governmental level, and forge a community of like-minded groups through the GoodAI Grants program.

GoodAI is a company with around 30 talented people working all across the world.
