Greenerwave has acquired a solid know-how for the design of reconfigurable metasurfaces at different frequencies (from 1GHz to 77 GHz) and for the development of physics algorithms based on wave propagation in complex environments. This know-how has allowed us to perform ultra-fast beam steering for satellite communications and to reach an unprecedented resolution in radar imaging.
As a member of the “Algorithm and Modelling” team, you will have the following missions:
Contribute to the development of numerical models of our antennas (“Digital Twins”), based on physical principles and/or trained using data-driven approaches (machine learning, deep learning),
Implement optimization algorithms using these models to find the metasurface configurations that allow the generation of target electromagnetic fields (beamforming),
Contribute to the development of models to predict directly configurations of the metasurface that would generate desired specific fields as outputs,
Set up and carry out experimental setups, implement algorithms to generate data for training numerical models, and test the performance of models experimentally,
Participate in real-world tests for the company as well as product demonstrations for clients and partners,
Conduct technological watch in your areas of expertise,
Present your ideas and results during the team’s weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Experiences
Graduated from an engineering school (Master’s degree, equivalent to a university degree) or holding a PhD, with a specialization in applied mathematics, simulation, and modeling. You have experience in optimizing/calibrating models using experimental data. You demonstrate an interest in applied physics problems, particularly wave physics.
A physicist with an interest in and experience with numerical analysis and optimization also matches the desired profile.
A first experience with experimental work (handling measurement devices, collecting experimental data) and/or cloud computing (such as OVHCloud or GCP) would be highly appreciated.
