Job description

Greenly 🌱 is a B corp certified SaaS founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud.

Our platform streamlines data collection and analysis through integrations, making the calculation of carbon emissions accurate, intuitive, and affordable.

Every day, we work with the goal of enabling companies to commit to a carbon reduction trajectory and to engage their entire ecosystem (employees, clients, suppliers) around their climate strategy.

Greenly supports clients within all industries! Currently working with over 2,500 clients, our assistance goes beyond basic carbon assessments by also including services such as Green IT, lifecycle analysis (LCA), and compliance with SBTi and CSRD initiatives.

Our Values:

  • Ambition for climate : Minimize GHG emissions, maximize climate impact
  • Agile delivery : Work in small increments: fail fast, learn fast, win fast
  • Ownership : Achieve outstanding results by showing initiative and accountability
  • Feedback paves the way : Succeed as a team by helping others progress

About the role

Within a product cross-functional squad, you will contribute to the team to create new functionalities for the user, making CO2 emissions measurements  friction-less, accurate and fast, and bringing the users into a decarbonization path.

As a software engineer, you will mostly contribute to the back-end by creating a reliable, efficient and powerful API to be used by our front-end. Using monitoring tools, you will monitor and optimize the performance of our endpoints, to ensure low delay and high reliability for our platform.

You will  work from end-to-end on the production of new functionalities: from the conception of a feature based on the users needs, to the delivery in production and finally the continuous improvement of the UX/UI and core functionalities from the user feedbacks.

You will hence be able to bring your own ideas and have a concrete impact on the live platform.

Working in a number of state-of-the-art tools, such as  low-code platforms, monitoring tools, and automation platforms, you will discover all the tricks to power a successful start-up/scale-up.

Finally, you will be part of an audacious, talented and ecologically aware team of engineers fighting climate change.

Your daily tasks

    • Learn new skills every day to become a seasoned software engineer by the end of your internship and become an asset for the team, the company, and the fight against climate change.

Qualifications required to succeed in this role

    • You have proven ambition and drive for excellence throughout your educational path. To show this, you have followed an excellent academic cursus, are an honours-type of student.
