Job description

The role :

Permanent position to be filled as soon as possible. Based in Paris 17th arrondissement.

The Supply and Demand Planner Europe is a key role within the Supply Chain team, ensuring optimal stock availability and forecasting accuracy to support our E-commerce operations and, in the future, potentially our B2B operations. The role requires a candidate with a flexible mindset, a strong sense of business impact, and excellent organizational skills to adapt to the dynamic nature of our operations.

What you’ll do :

Supply Chain Management

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the E-commerce supply chain, including:
    • Animation plan, stock holding, monthly order release, pre-orders, and data updates (e.g., product phase-in/out, end-of-life management).
    • Preparation and management of order forms for new launches.
    • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and monitor performance indicators for E-commerce activities (forecast reliability, stock levels, safety stock).
  • Identify and manage operational priorities, focusing on business impact and adapting actions accordingly.
  • Coordinate closely with E-commerce teams to anticipate risks and opportunities for products.

Data Management

  • Maintain accurate product lifecycle statuses (Active, Discontinued, Inactive).
  • Update promotion dates, end-of-life timelines, and delisting schedules.
  • Manage and update local items (e.g., kits, promotional items).
  • Oversee Phase-In, Phase-Out, and End-of-Life processes.

Demand Forecasting

  • Analyze historical sales performance (SFA, Bias, stability) and ensure forecasts align with demand.
  • Cleanse and adjust historical data for accuracy, accounting for peaks and exceptional events.
  • Build forecasts using product lifecycle data, style trends, and historical insights.
  • Align forecasts with budget, analyze gaps, and propose corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with e-store teams to maintain updated forecasts, monitor product changes, and adjust for market dynamics.

Order Management

  • Release monthly orders with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Create pre-orders and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Monitor order status and communicate risks or delays to teams.
  • Optimize stock release decisions, considering product lifecycle and stock levels.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain up-to-date system records for all stock-related activities.
  • Notify teams of new product entries to avoid inactive stock.
  • Monitor excess stock and manage returns when necessary.
  • Anticipate shortages and inform stakeholders proactively.

S&OP Meetings

  • Coordinate and prepare for monthly S&OP meetings, ensuring accurate data presentation.
  • Facilitate discussions on short-term estimates, launch and promotion performance, and long-term planning.
  • Align sales forecasts with factory production planning for optimal resource utilization.
