Job

We’re looking for a cofounder acting as CEO to build with Dorian Janvier our new competitive socializing concept from the ground up and scale it into an international leader.

Your primary mission is to build and run this first competitive socializing brand through 3 stages:

  1. Design, launch and operate a first Point of Sale to validate market success as fast as possible.

  2. Scale the concept to 60+ Points of Sale across France.

  3. Expand the brand internationally.

This is a 10+ year entrepreneurial and managerial journey setting up the foundations to build the global leader of competitive socializing through several brands across the world.

Scope

As CEO, you’ll be empowered to build the company from scratch and operate it. You’ll be accountable for the company’s results and will answer to the company’s Board of Directors.

You’ll own the following departments:

  • Field Operations (POS management, field team management)

  • Food & Beverage (menu, recipes, suppliers, quality, processes, etc.)

  • Expansion (real estate, construction)

You will work hand in hand with another cofounder, Dorian Janvier, who spearheaded the project and will own Product (leisure activities), Sales & Marketing, and Corporate Operations (Finance, Admin, Legal, etc.).

You will recruit the 1st Point of Sale team and benefit from the support of Hadrena corporate teams (Real Estate, Construction & Maintenance, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.) who will allocate a dedicated bandwidth to support you. Over time, you’ll have the choice to keep outsourcing these functions to Hadrena or to internalize some of those.


Preferred experience

We’re looking for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and deep Food & Beverage expertise:

  • 10+ years of work experience, of which 5+ years in the hospitality industry, with P&L ownership.

  • Experienced manager, perfectly able to structure and manage several Points of Sale and Corporate teams.

  • Strong leadership, with excellent French written & oral communication skills. Fluent in English.

  • Deep knowledge in Food & Beverage, with experience in launching or scaling a concept.

  • Good understanding of competitive socializing and of our targeted customers (rural middle class).

  • Entrepreneur & doer profile with a good business sense.
