Flexible and remote work are all the rage in the last few years, but the thing is at Heetch, it’s always been like that. Between full remote workers all over the world, international offices and our headquarters in Barcelona, our system has been fully functional for some time now : it’s a success!
Our secret? Spending quality time together.
Back in 2013, Teddy started Heetch with his co-founder Mathieu on the parking lots of Parisian nightclubs. The goal ? Showcasing their nocturnal ride-sharing service to young customers who’d missed the last train. Ten years and two fundraisings later, Heetch is now a professional 24/24 ride-hailing app covering more than ten countries and growing very fast, particularly in French-speaking Africa.
And the best is yet to come !
What do Paris, Milan, and London have in common? These cities host Fashion Week, YES, BUT they also hosted Carla during her studies (how lucky) ! After starting her studies in Economics & Management at Paris Dauphine and Bocconi, Carla decided to pursue a second Master's, this time in Business Analytics at Imperial College London. She joined Heetch right after obtaining her degree in 2021 and has been with us ever since !
Starting as a Business Analyst and then becoming a Global Business & Operations Manager, she's now a Data Scientist. Here she shares her growth journey and what she loves about Heetch !
Studying a market, launching new businesses, and developing others in new countries are Alvaro's specialties! Originally from Barcelona, he has always been passionate about exploring and gaining a deeper understanding of the African continent. Alvaro has worked as a researcher and as a Business Development Manager in Africa. He also co-founded his own market research firm, Afriqinsights !
Alvaro is now the Regional Director at Heetch in the Luanda office. Here he shares his journey and talks about our African Business !
After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Paris, Emeline graduated top of her class in 2023 with a Master's degree in Human Resources Management. Freshly graduated and with two years of experience as an apprentice Head Hunter and as a Junior HRBP, she decided to launch her career abroad and join Heetch's People team at the HQ (Barcelona).

Born in Colombia, Stephanie decided to leave her home country to pursue a Master's degree in Investment Banking & Capital Markets at IÉSEG in France! This marked the beginning of her international professional journey in finance. After stints in Finland, Luxembourg, and France, she finally settled in Barcelona, Spain, in 2019 and joined Heetch in 2024 as a Senior Financial Controller.
