As Hello Tomorrow blooms, we are looking for someone who will join the nascent Startup Programs & Innovation Engine team at Hello Tomorrow as an Intern, where creativity, organization, and entrepreneurial spirit will be instrumental in driving the success of deep tech startups and advancing corporate open innovation. 

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Startup Programs & Innovation Engine Intern, your role will be key in supporting the execution and coordination of both the Innovation Engine and the Startup Programs. You will be instrumental in fostering relationships with startups, assisting in program coordination, and conducting market research and startup sourcing. This position requires a balance of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for deep tech and innovation.

More precisely, reporting to our Startup Program Manager you will:

Startup Sourcing and Program Scoping (~40%*)

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in deep tech topics.

  • Lead startup sourcing initiatives and help develop a communications strategy to boost applications to our programs.

  • Identify and engage with relevant partners from each specific industry.

Program Delivery (~40%*)

  • Be the main point of contact to the startups, and provide support throughout the programs by sharing program information & resources and making relevant connections.

  • Engage with and help deliver value to our different stakeholders, including startups, investors, industry experts, and mentors.

  • Organize and participate in events, workshops, and meetings, both online and in-person, to promote and increase participation in our programs.

Innovation Engine (~20%*)

  • Help identify relevant industry leaders for the program to foster peer-to-peer learning and valuable connections with relevant startups.

  • Prepare presentations of business cases and develop engaging content for workshops.

  • Assist with workshop moderation.

  • Assess corporate innovation strategy to identify value propositions.


Preferred experience

YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES

  • You have experience within a technology startup, research lab, consultancy firm, or company focused on technological or business development.

  • You have a technical, scientific, or engineering background or have a good understanding of technical subjects.

  • Experience in project management, particularly in technology-driven environments, startups, or entrepreneurial projects is a plus.

YOUR SKILLS & TALENTS

  • You are bilingual in French and English.

  • You are organized and know how to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • You are proactive, able to anticipate issues and request assistance.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in technology and innovation. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team. 

  • You have excellent analytical skills & critical thinking (collecting, processing, and interpreting data to enable data-based decisions).

  • You are a team player, curious, empathetic, humble and eager to do your best to create a positive impact!

THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You don’t have a valid visa for the whole period of the internship.

  • You are not eligible to sign a convention de stage.

  • You are not available for a full-time internship for 6 months.

  • You can’t work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).
