Job description

As Hello Tomorrow blooms, we are looking for a Startup Programs Manager who will shape and deliver innovative programs that empower deep tech startups to grow and succeed.

You will be part of the Startup Program and Innovation Engine team and we are looking for a builder at heart — someone who thinks like an entrepreneur, embraces challenges, and loves turning big ideas into reality with startups.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Startups Program Manager, you will oversee the design and delivery of programs that support deep tech startups, ensuring their development, execution, and alignment with the needs of the ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure impactful outcomes and successful program delivery.

More precisely, reporting to our Head of Startup Programs and Innovation Engine, you will:

Program Design & Execution  (~50%)

  • Define program objectives and scope by conducting market analyses, benchmarks, surveys, and reviewing industry reports.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with institutions, investors, and organizations to ensure the program’s success.

  • Lead the startup sourcing process, identifying and selecting high-potential candidates for program participation.

  • Manage program delivery, ensuring its completion on time and within scope, while meeting all objectives.

Startup Mentoring (~20%)

  • Assess startups’ needs and identify key areas of support to address their most pressing challenges.

  • Develop expertise in startup mentoring topics and deliver targeted training sessions tailored to their growth needs.

New Initiatives & Training (~20%)

  • Contribute to proposals for third-party acceleration initiatives, leveraging Hello Tomorrow’s experience and resources.

  • Create and deliver modular training programs for startups, drawing on the company’s existing structures and expertise.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration (~10%)

  • Coordinate with internal teams and business units to align resources and ensure smooth program operations.

  • Manage junior team members, providing clear instructions, feedback, and support for their professional growth.

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure effective workflow and accountability.

Preferred experience

YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working with startups, in acceleration/incubation programs, or entrepreneurial roles.

  • A background in Business, Economics, or a related field is strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and events with precision, creativity, and impact.

  • Experience in a growing startup or small company is a plus.

YOUR SKILLS & TALENTS

  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a BIG plus.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to identify and seize opportunities.

  • Autonomy & Organization: Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strategic Thinking: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify synergies and translate them into actionable plans.

  • You are passionate about deep tech, innovation, science and want to learn more about it.

  • You are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation.

  • You are a team player, curious, empathetic, humble and eager to do your best to create a positive impact!

THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You prefer working in a highly structured, routine environment over a dynamic and fast-paced one

  • You can’t work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).

  • You are unwilling to take the initiative or work autonomously when required.

  • You are not open to learning new skills or expanding your knowledge in startup ecosystems and program management.
