You will join the Tech team composed of 14 talented Full Stack developers, divided into different squads (1 PM + 2/3 developers) based on the B2B products we offer: BNPL, card, accelerated payouts, business accounts, and credit wire transfers. Under the supervision of Joey –our Chief Technology Officer–, you will take on the ambitious challenge of helping bring Hero’s technology at scale.

To make it a real success, your missions will be to :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications.

• Collaborate with product  and development experts to design and implement features.

• Participate in writing technical specifications and developing architectural plans to ensure efficient and high-quality implementation.

• Ensure code quality by performing unit and integration tests and implementing good development practices.

• Optimize application performance and resolve scalability issues.

• Work closely with DevOps specialists to ensure efficient deployment and management of the application.

• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

Your  Profile  ?  🦸

• Background in Software Engineering, You have at least 5 years of experience in web development with Node.js and React.

• Technical skills, you have an in-depth knowledge of, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, GraphQL and you also master the components of a robust and clean architecture / hexagonal architecture.

• Expert in development, you master unit testing, continuous integration and version control

• You understand the Agile and Software Craftsmanship philosophies

• Problem solver, you are able to demonstrate autonomy, calm and serenity in solving complex situations

• Conscientious and rigorous to code quality and user experience, you know that the devil is in the details

• Team player, you enjoy working with your colleagues

• Entrepreneurial mindset : you are comfortable both with starting from a blank page, and maintaining existing code. You are pragmatic, not dogmatic.

• Flexible : you adapt easily to fast-track and high-growth environment

• Speaking French and English fluently is mandatory

Nice to have : *

• A previous experience in implementing automated tests

• A strong knowledge of SOLID principles, Design patterns, and Software designs

• Be familiar with the concepts of container deployment and orchestration is definitely a plus
