As a founding engineer you will take a crucial part of building the whole product and the underlying tech, hand-in-hand with the rest of the team and the CTO. In such an early-stage, fast-paced environment, you are expected to write code for every part of the product and collaborate closely with general practitioners, dermatologists, patients, nurses etc… to translate needs into solutions.
In the same spirit, it will be equally important to pay attention to AI laboratory research for dermatology to incorporate their findings, as well as to consider existing skin imaging technologies on the market in order to integrate them smoothly into our product.
We don’t expect you to know everything, but we expect you to be willing to learn.
From day one, you can expect to:
Write code for our frontend apps,
Write code to interface our cloud platform with hardware manufacturers,
Apply ‘security by design’ principles as we handle sensitive data,
Define and execute the architecture and technical strategy with the CTO.
In addition to knowledge of our tech stack described below, we are seeking someone who:
Is able to learn quickly and to make fast decisions,
Is comfortable navigating uncertainty and adapts easily to new situations,
Communicates effectively with anyone and is deeply motivated by the company’s mission.
