The Customer Activation Product Owner is part of the Product Team and closely working with the Customer Program Owner at group level delivering the assets for our 17 countries and more than 850 hotels worldwide. As a Customer Activation Product Owner, he/she will be in charge of the Customer Activation Roadmap to develop and implement customer activation strategies. He/she will focus on delivering ROI driven activation use cases, using marketing automation tools. He / she will also be in charge of the Salesforce marketing cloud roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
In charge of all transactional emails and global loyalty program activation, the Product Owner is responsible for organizing and prioritizing the Customer Activation roadmap in line with strategic business priorities. This includes:
Defining and updating the roadmap in alignment with business priorities through governance bodies and relevant stakeholders.
Managing subject prioritization via business workshops, refinement sessions, or operational committees.
Informing stakeholders of any roadmap changes and aligning it with other Product Owners to manage dependencies.
Responsibilities also include:
Driving solution implementation to create added value (e.g., personalization, notifications).
Analyzing user needs related to customer engagement and loyalty programs.
Designing robust customer journeys, including fully digitalized loyalty program journeys, while including legal constraints in each country.
Collaborating with technical teams on architecture, design, and development decisions.
Working closely with teams from the Digital Factory, Data, Data Science, and Business Intelligence departments.
Regularly communicating product updates to regional CRM teams.
5 -10 years experience as a Customer Activation Product Owner, with expertise in product management, digital governance, customer experience, and Agile methodology
Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce
Marketing Cloud and additional knowledge in CDP system and template builder would be appreciated
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to align expectations, priorities, and outcomes.
Ability to translate customer needs into product features and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Written and Spoken English fluency is mandatory.
