Job description

Background: We are searching for a Junior Dealer to strengthen our journey of significant expansion within the UK. Candidates will be passionate about financial markets & technology, possessing a strong drive to work closely with clients, in a proactive manner, mitigating risks and maximising opportunities via the iBanFirst platform and extensive suite of features. Our dealing team are vital, they plan, structure, and execute deals, providing our clients with the best value while contributing to our growth strategy. The chosen candidate will be provided with a sizeable portfolio to manage and develop.

Technical Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of FX sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic about technological financial solutions.
  • Confident quoting prices on spot/forward trades.
  • Full understanding of the yield curve and its impact on forward pricing.
  • Proficient with technology and its application in corporate FX functions.
  • Strong sales techniques, including persuasion and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills across various platforms (phone, email, in-person).
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service a portfolio of clients across a range of different products, including FX spot and hedging as well as broader treasury services.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to assist in business origination. Collaborate internally, particularly with other members of the dealing team.
  • Building & maintaining strong client relationships through client meetings.
  • Meet weekly and monthly activity and sales targets.
  • Originate new business via networking with existing clients for business referrals.
