Are you seeking experience in digital marketing and work in events? IMCAS, the leading organizer for medical congresses held worldwide for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other aesthetic treatment providers, offering a central hub for medical professionals to gather and share in the latest advancements, products, and support within the community.

The IMCAS Marketing Department is seeking a marketing intern/apprentice, with a diverse list of tasks, guaranteed to provide you with crucial hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Communications team with various tasks, such as:

    • Email and phone response to interview candidates (launching initial email contact, follow-up, providing additional details upon request, etc.) and assist in the scheduling of in-person interviews during the IMCAS World Congress in January

    • Drafting and publishing social media communications & newsletters for SFME, our affiliated French congress

    • Assist with video editing projects

  • Assisting the General Marketing team with various tasks such as:

    • Assist with general digital marketing analyses, partnerships, and related data analysis
  • Assisting with registration needs on our database leading up to the congress in January

  • During the IMCAS World Congress (January 30th to February 1st) assist with:

    • In-person registration for event participants

    • On-site coordination: being the person of contact for interviewees, assisting them with locating interview space, responding to any questions, concerns, or conflicts, entering & leaving interview space

    • Supplementary social media content: taking candid photos and videos during interviews, creating content with the IMCAS social media manager during the congress


Preferred experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, tourism, communication, or related field

  • C1+ English skills

  • At least a B2 level in French

  • Attention to detail

  • Multitasker

  • Autonomous

  • Team player

  • People person (this is a role with a substantial amount of social contact!)

  • Knowledge and experience with Mailjet or similar, familiarity with HTML coding is a plus

  • Knowledge of Canva, and Adobe (InDesign, Premier) would be a plus


Recruitment process

  • Final interview in our Paris office, followed by an English assessment test
