My career goal was always to become a manager.
In prior roles, I served as a mentor and led people on the projects I managed, but I was never given the opportunity to become a manager. That all changed for me when I joined Inato. From the minute I joined the company, my manager and I established what my career goals were, and it became our mission to work together to achieve my dream.
She set clear expectations of what I needed to do to prove that I would be a good fit for the role and provided regular feedback to me to ensure that I was aware of what I needed to do to get there.
Within 1 short year, I was promoted; I now manage a team of 3 and couldn’t be happier.
