Your Mission:
As the only Product Designer for our HR performance product - Javelo, you will drive the entire design process from concept to execution. Your role involves taking ownership of Javelo's design, ensuring the highest standards are maintained consistently, you will contribute to Javelo’s Design System, you will leverage user research, customer feedback, industry best practices, and usability heuristics to make design decisions that enhance user experience and product functionality.
About the Team:
Javelo is an integral part of Tellent, comprised of a passionate team of over 30 professionals dedicated to innovation and excellence in HR technology. Collaborating directly with Patrick, our Head of Product, and Arthur, Product Manager, you will play a critical role in setting and achieving design objectives that align with our overarching company goals. Join us to shape the future of HR solutions, driving significant improvements in user engagement and satisfaction.
Your 12-month journey:
During the first 3 months: You’ll meet the team, learn about the product and the way we work. You’ll start to understand how the application works and what direction it is heading. You’ll have understood how we work & how the product is used by customers, you’ll have minor delivered a few small features and improvements.
Within 6 months:
You’ll be prepared to work mainly on your own and will know what’s coming up next. You’ll be responsible for designing more complex features with minimum supervision. You’ll have a deep understanding of what we do and why we do that.
After 1 year:
You’ll know the product by heart and be a to-go person regarding Javelo’s design and functionalities. You’ll proactively look into what’s next for Javelo and how we can make the experience even better for our customersWhat you’ll be doing:
Own end-to-end design of Javelo (from userflows, through wireframes to ui mockups and handoff)
You’ll validate your ideas with colleagues from team and if feasible with our customers.
You’ll research Javelo’s competitors
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Head of Product
Collaborate with Head of Product Design on Javelo’s design direction
Contribute to the design system of Javelo
What you’ll bring to the team:
Couple years of experience in the field, ideally with SAAS applications demonstrated through a descriptive portfolio of 2 projects that you’re proud of.
Experience with creating RWD apps
Figma is your best friend (you use autolayout, it itches you when someone detaches a component in a production ready design)
Ego-less attitude - we’re not always right and we have the freedom to admit it and validate our ideas before making a final decision.
Great communication skills in English & French
High sense of ownership - we don’t believe in micromanaging and we trust our employees to own their work.
1. HR stage - HR interview (the video call will last up to 45 minutes)
2. Portfolio review with Hiring Manager - 1 hour video call
3. Whiteboard session - 1 hour live session with our design team
