The position

Job description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of assigned engineering and strategic projects from initiation to closure. This includes full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder engagement, aligned with Keolis-MHI’s operational objectives. The role supports the Engineering Project Manager in delivering a portfolio of capital and transformation projects, particularly those related to engineering upgrades and RTA-driven initiatives.

 

  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ​​​​​​​Monitor delivery progress of individual projects through direct reports and portfolio reviews
  • Manage tendering, RFPs, technical bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify financial risks early and implement mitigation plans to protect margins.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and receivables; support profitability analysis.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of high-value infrastructure projects (e.g., ATC/MSN upgrades, RSK enhancements).
  • Manage project execution lifecycle: scope, risk, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Use KM project management tools (e.g., Maximo, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Report on progress, risks, and corrective actions through dashboards and trackers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project documentation, As-Builts, and close-out reports.
  • Ensure compliance with KM and RTA standards, QHSE, cybersecurity, and legal requirements.
  • Support overall, non-directly assigned, KM internal and third-party project delivery.

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent.​​​​​​​
  • Certification: PMP.
  • Design /engineering background.

Experience

  • Min. 5 years in project engineering; subcontractor management experience.
  • O&M rail experience.
  • Working in Dubai /Tram.
  • UAE experience

Skills / Training

  • English fluency
  • Project management tools (Maximo, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • KPI-driven mindset, and leadership.
  • Arabic fluency.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
