Reporting to the CEO L-ACOUSTICS, the Executive Director of Sales & Business Development will define and steer the Business’s strategy on a worldwide scale. He/she is in charge of creating conditions of success and delivering the expected revenue target. Providing leadership, direction, and resource to the Sales, Sales Operations, Business development & Market Intelligence functions, he/she is accountable for overall sales organization performance (revenue, market share & growth goals).
The Executive Director of Sales & Business Development leads a supportive high-performing and result-driven team of a Director of Sales & Sales Operations, a Director of Business Development Global and a Director of Market Intelligence.
Lead business performance
Responsible for company’s achieved global turnover and consistent growth YoY.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
Maintains commercial SWOT, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
Investigate & review factors impacting sales performance and bring on-going improvements.
Lead the performance management system (OKR) for the Sales & Business Development’s organizations.
Develop strong network with key global accounts and key decision makers in Pro Audio industry.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction (NPS).
Provides regular business and sales update to C-level executives and board of directors.
Design long-term revenue growth strategy
Develop a multi-year, sustainable revenue growth plan.
Identify high business growth areas from regions to verticals to sales channels.
Identify, secure and manage strategic partnerships for new business opportunities.
Expand business opportunities beyond current market by transposing company success and product to new industry.
Drive expansion of sales channels to include go to market and digital commerce’s strategies.
Create a culture of success.
Provide leadership to the sales organization’s management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
Recommend and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
Build a future-proof Sales organization.
Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
Align the Sales & Business Development’s organization and objectives with Company’s strategy.
Lead sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives.
Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the Sales, Sales Operations & Business Development functions.
Build a prospective business vision to assert our leadership positioning.
Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
Maintain a deep knowledge of connected industry trends.
Provide business strategy and thoughts leadership at major industry events, conferences or trade shows.
Act as a transverse player, change agent and inspiring leader
Find and engage resources across functions and organizations and ensure coordination.
Work closely with the Marketing, Communication & Application Project to achieve revenue and business objectives.
Active participation in executive committee, corporate strategic planning, resource planning, and budgeting.
Support the achievement of strategic objectives critical to other functional areas within the Group.
