Join our Magnitude team as an MANAGEMENT REPORTING MANAGER?

Your role:

In this role, you will work closely with the FP&A (Finance Planning & Analysis) team, the Finance Transformation teams, and the management controllers to meet the financial and non-financial reporting needs.

Your main mission will be to maintain the integrity and consistency of consolidated data using the SAP Finance Consolidation system (SAP FC). This tool supports the collection, consolidation, and reporting of financial, logistics, and HR data, which is essential for the publication of the Group’s accounts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop the Management Reporting tool (SAP FC), which interacts with several financial, logistics, and HR systems.
  • Ensure the reliability of consolidated financial information.
  • Continuously improve processes for better operational efficiency.
  • Maintain L’Oréal Group’s reporting system in operational condition.

Your team:

You will join a strong and close-knit team within the Magnitude Administration department, which is divided into several teams:

  • HR Reporting (2 people)
  • Financial Consolidation Reporting (2 people)
  • Management Reporting (5 people)


You will be part of the Management Reporting team and work closely with the Finance Application Security team (3 people).

Your main missions:

Support for the operation of the Magnitude system :
  • Generate management reporting.
  • Monitor interfaces between related tools (Google Cloud Platform, TM1, etc.).
  • Provide technical and functional support to users (emails, ServiceNow).
  • Provide operational support to business teams during closing periods.


Project management assistance, participation in projects and monitoring of process improvements :
  • Collect, understand, and monitor the needs expressed by the different departments.
  • Acceptance of parameterization changes.
  • Participate in projects from other departments that impact management reporting.
  • Participate in projects to develop and optimize our processes: drafting procedures, knowledge management, identifying “best practices”.


Parameterization:
  • Configure SAP FC (structure, repository, rules, documents).
  • Manage interfaces.
  • Create SQL views for the Google Cloud Platform.


Communication :
  • Write and update technical and functional documentation.
  • Document and communicate reporting changes.


Required skills:

Essential :
  • Knowledge of SAP Finance Consolidation (SAP FC, formerly Magnitude) or another EPM solution (Onestream, Tagetik, HFM, etc.).
  • Understanding of accounting and management principles.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL).
  • Proficiency in office tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Ability to learn and adapt.
  • Strong interest in IT tools and information systems (financial software, etc.).
  • Logical mind and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Interpersonal skills, curiosity, good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, rigor.
  • Service-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.


Profile sought:

Master’s degree in information systems and/or Finance/Management (university or business school) with at least 5 years of successful experience in an EPM solution.
