IT & Tech Sustainability Intern

Join our Beauty Tech & NEO team:

NEO is a major Group worldwide program decided by the Executive Committee - that will create common, simplified, and harmonized ways of working that will enable us to operate cross-métier processes in our plants, Countries, Zones & Divisions.

By optimizing processes among divisions, NEO will allow us to support our go-to-market initiatives in a more consumer centric and agile fashion, while improving the user experience and workloads for our teams. Laying the foundation for Beauty Tech, NEO will contribute to group performance, by leveraging our data, and helping transform L’Oréal into a “smart company.”

You’ll manage the following missions :

High-With a team of 5 IT & Tech professionnals dedicated to Sustainability topics in their field. Our mission is to monitor our environmental & societal impacts and enable our IT metiers to decouple their footprints from the Group usage of IT & Tech.

  • Analysis on key impact domain: NEO program, Clouds, Partners
  • Content creation: “OnePager” for both internal & external communication
  • Curation / Market watch: analysis on growing tech fields, new topics, partners & solutions
  • Support program management organization.
  • As this domain is emerging and market is moving fast, new missions may be decided along the way, in collaboration with you!


Based in Clichy, with some travels possible depending on Team needs and opportunities.

According to your team, here are examples of missions you will have to undertake:

  • Project Management - Animate, plan, execute, and monitor projects related to the environment or philanthropy.
  • Stakeholder Management - Establish and develop relationships with external associations or internal services, working closely with partners
  • Innovation and Benchmarks - Contribute to scaling up CSR initiatives and establish benchmarks to measure the impact and effectiveness of our actions, advancing our commitment to sustainability.
  • KPI Monitoring and International Reporting - Collaborate with all L’Oréal subsidiaries to monitor key performance indicators and produce international reports.


What do you need to apply?
  • Preferably, you have a background in engineering, science, or IT.
  • You are seeking a gap-year or end-of-studies internship.
  • You can provide a 6-month internship agreement issued by your school.
  • Previous experience in the IT industry or a sustainability role is appreciated.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Familiarity with key concepts in the sustainability field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365).


If your application is selected, you will be invited to a telephone interview with a recruiter. This is an exploratory discussion to get to know you better and identify the job, the field, the division that best fits with your profile.

Last step if the exploratory interview is positive: you will have the opportunity to meet your potential future manager for a second and final interview to discuss the missions you will be given.
