YOUR FUTURE TEAM

As part of the L’Oréal Global IT Infrastructure Platform team, you are provid ing DevOps expertise to application to all L’Oréal organizations .

The Group Infrastructure department ( 8 0p based at company headquarters) delivers product and services to the Business and to Employees worldwide (in more than 70 countries). In this organization you will join the Infrastructure Cloud & Managed Apps ( 20 people ) in charge of managing our worldwide CSP landscape (Azure and AWS) and delivering Operational Service Lines in DevOps model .

As part of the Global IT Infrastructure department , Cloud & Managed Apps team is responsible for setting up Cloud foundations, Cloud governance, FinOps governance and Cloud & Managed Apps operations with the help an external Managed Service Provider.

Our Cloud & Managed Apps team is a human-sized team engaged in a great cloud and DevOps transformation and working as community with teams around the globe .

What a day in your future job looks like:

Your first mission will be to support Application teams in adopting DevOps practices, tools and delivering applications ready to be operated in production .

The mid-term goal for our team , is to deliver global standard DevOps tools and processes, for application teams to deploy their code , monitor it in production on multiple technological stacks and execute changes in a fully automated way .

The long-term vision is for the global IT infrastructure platform team to deliver the full stack DevOps too l chain and Service lines to the full L’Oréal Application team community .

Concretely, you will be led to:

  • Delivering application teams with environments to be used f orm development and testing .


  • Build and Run DevOps pipeline to be used by application and operation teams from development to production .


  • Manage and automate Infrastructure and application changes delivered as part of Infra Managed Apps Service Lines.


  • Deploy and manag e the full stack for Pre- production and production environments .


  • Provide level 2 and 3 support and expertise to operations staff and developers,


  • Document procedures for new deploy ment and changes.


  • Implementation of logging / monitoring / alerting tools for operations staff and developers .


  • Analyz e i mpact of major changes to ensure compliance to existing architecture and principles of the product s.


  • Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, stab le, secure d , scalable and cost-effective .


  • Identify the technical debt in the product and drive continuous improvements on them .


  • Manage proactive relationship with applications teams and Managed service providers in several countries and organizations .


  • Coach and t rain the Application team community on DevOps and SRE practices.


  • Frame f unctional and technical part of new projects /solutions included to scope of responsibility.


  • Produce documents and templates describing products, services, components to establish compliance with relevant documentation requirement; ensure they are valid and up to date and that functions and features are documented in an appropriate way ,


  • Execute POC ensuring the new functional and technological challenges for L’Oréal Infrastructure and application teams


  • Contribute to the Dev O ps, SRE, CI/CD infrastructure roadmap for the L’Oréal IT community (in close collaboration with the Cloud Architects, the application DevOps CoE and other tech leads) Participate in the evaluation of vendors’ products and services

You’ll stand out if:

  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer in the design and implementation of a continuous deployment chain with the most used tools (Git, Jenkins , AzureDevOps , GitHub, Gitbal , … )


  • S cripting languages expertise (Python, Shell, JSON, Powershell , Javascript , Perl).


  • E xperience on Jenkins pipelines and other CI/CD


  • Good knowledge of DevOps tools: Gitlab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Nexus Sonatype , SonarQube, Selenium, JMeter, …


  • Experimented on Docker, Kubernetes, Helm


  • Tools: ServiceNow, Confluence


  • Familiar Terraform Infrastructure as Code.


  • D ynamic, curious and enjoy collaborating with others.


  • Q uickly adapt to a new environment and new ways of working.


  • C omfortable working remotely with a team located in several countries.


  • You also need a good level of English.
