YOUR MISSION

The Sourcing Director for Augmented Beauty Operations mission is to develop and sustain best in class supplier partners for Beauty Devices and Equipment’s, that will revolutionize the world of Beauty. Support the innovation process from a sourcing perspective, develop long term sourcing strategy, ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, and be ultimately responsible for establishing cost standards and reducing costs.

The position reports to the Head of L’Oréal Augmented Beauty Operations.

YOU RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support innovation process by working hand in hand with R&I, Marketing and Operations.
  • Be part of the multi zone, multi brand project teams to support new product development for Consumer and POS (Point of Sale) Beauty Devices and Equipment’s.
  • Develop the long-term sourcing strategy.
  • Provide hands-on management of vendor relationships and oversight of all members within Augmented Beauty Sourcing.
  • Meet cost savings goals, spearhead negotiations to reduce costs and implement cost control measures.
  • Create performance metrics and standards for Augmented Beauty Sourcing and implement supplier improvement initiatives where necessary.
  • Oversee overall supplier performance to deliver projects at optimal costs, service, quality, safety, yield, timeliness, and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize value from the company’s vendor relationships.
  • Establish knowledge of the Suppliers market, create the conditions for great deals and innovation with our Suppliers to bring collectively higher value
  • Research and develop alternate vendor sources as needed.
  • Establish and implement purchasing contracts and oversee competitive bidding processes.
  • Work in a team environment among all Operations functions and other departments, interact regularly with senior management to achieve business targets.
  • Maintain compliance for areas of responsibility and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Represent Augmented Beauty Sourcing with a high level of integrity and professionalism.


WHO YOU ARE
  • Results focused leader with strong initiative and service orientation
  • Preferred 15+ years of electronic device or equivalent sourcing experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team, and interactions in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proficient at influencing business stakeholders
  • Excellent skills in establishing policies, procedures and controls
  • Expert negotiation skills and contract management
  • Must have strong analytic skills, and be very detail oriented
  • Adept in managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proven problem solving abilities
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
