Join our 3D team to produce high resolution still images of our game’s characters in a stunning medieval fantasy universe for millions of players, aiming best quality possible.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Produce high quality stylized characters using animation pipeline, such as quad-topology, Arnold Maya shading, and X-gen grooming
Respect the art direction and characters’ guidelines throughout the creation process
Collaborate with animators, concept artists, and riggers to ensure a high level of quality
Share ideas and expertise with fellow Character Artists to continuously enrich the team’s expertise
Advise and mentor team members while maintaining a learning mindset and suggesting quality improvements for produced assets
Document your work processes and techniques to improve team communication and workflow transparency
Stay updated with the latest gaming visual trends
Meet commitments and deadlines with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Expertise in 3D sculpting with advanced proficiency in ZBrush, Maya, Arnold, Xgen, Substance, Marvelous Designer, etc.
5+ years of experience creating stylized characters
A strong professional portfolio showcasing high-quality examples of 3D characters
High proficiency in anatomy, and character design rules
Strong affinity with a Disney / Pixar art-style
Friendly, constructive, and supportive communication skills
Highly autonomous with strong ability to adapt
Ability to follow direction and react to multiple rounds of feedback in a timely manner
Ability and will to work with very high expectations in terms of quality and dedicate the necessary improvement time to meet them (do the retakes, integrate feedback…)
