Are you passionate about premium ingredients and raising the standards of the UK cocktails scene? Les vergers Boiron, the global leader in premium fruit purées and a family-owned French business since 1942, is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in central London.

At Boiron, we’re renowned for our 100% fruit purées, crafted with care and a dedication to quality that spans decades. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for driving sales volume to indirect end-users within the local on-trade market through our wholesale network. You’ll play a pivotal role in acquiring new end-users as well as growing and retaining existing accounts.

As our Business Development Manager, and under the leadership of our UK & Ireland Head of On-Trade you will:

  • Identify and develop new account opportunities, focusing primarily on Independent Free Trade (IFT) and small groups, both independently and in collaboration with our wholesale partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bartenders and operators, ensuring they are fully equipped to use Boiron products effectively and remain loyal to the brand.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert insights into our unique products and their versatile applications.

  • Support the broader team and wholesale partners in maximizing product sell-out within on-trade channels, including bars and restaurants.

  • Collaborate with the trade marketing team to execute regional marketing strategies.

  • Partner with Spirits brands to enhance account performance and drive product rate of sale.

Preferred experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Current or recent on-trade experience (ideally with bars), with the ability to speak knowledgeably with bar staff and managers.

  • A good understanding of cocktails and mixology; additional training will be provided if needed.

  • Existing connections within the On-Trade, especially in the bar and restaurant sector, are advantageous.

  • A positive and energetic personality with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • A collaborative mindset, working closely with other businesses and across departments.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit to identify opportunities within the channel and make impactful connections.

  • Native English mandatory.
