MRO BUYER-BC41100 PURCHASING
The maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) buyer is responsible for the preparation and issuance of purchase orders for products, special processing and/or services used for finished goods, maintenance, repair and facility maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices within the ERP system accurately and within compliance of regulations.
• Obtains price quotes from vendors, compare quotes against LISI purchasing requirements and the budget, and places orders.
• Manages all aspects of purchasing and distribution while taking into account best practices for cost-effective solutions.
• Communicates effectively to management and suppliers, fostering a team atmosphere, and reports on issues in a timely fashion.
• Expedites delivery of orders as needed, follow-up on past due orders, and updates open order reports within ERP.
• Attends all required job related training (internal and external).
• Continually exemplifies and is an advocate of LISI Aerospace’s Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles as stated in LISI Aerospace’s Team Member Handbook.
• Champions and participates in the LEAP (LISI Excellence Achievement Program) in support of the Company’s commitment to continuous improvement in the areas of; HSE, Quality, and Production.

Education and/or Experience
