Position Summary:
This position is responsible to assure compliance to customer requirements and standards during the life-cycle of products. It covers the quality inspection tasks, the documentation review and issuing CoC. The QAR is working closely with production supervisor and employees, QA team and planners.
Key responsibilities:
- Assuring compliance to customer requirements throughout the life cycle of the project
- Conducting quality inspections (in-process, reception, first article, out/sourced operation and final) by assuring compliance to customer, ISO and all other relevant standards, and utilizing the adequate gages (as necessary: hand gages, microscope, vision system, CMM…)
- Review and close the DHR (traveler and any production document linked to the shop order) *
- Issuing Certificate of Compliance at final inspection step *
- Contributing to the raw material incoming inspection process
- Performing the CMM preventive maintenance
- Participating to PSM1
- Participating in developing and maintaining project-specific quality plans, as ballooned drawing, inspection report, work instruction.
- Opening and supporting investigation of NCR or complaints
- Preparing required quality documentation
- May interface with the supplier to resolve issues
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED and min of 4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications
o Level III expected to be proficient in blueprint reading with GDNT.
• Proficient with geometric dimensioning and shop math
• Working knowledge of basic machine shop inspection processes and measurement practices and proficient with selecting, calibrating and using precision machine shop gauging.
• Ability to detect and identify typical defects found in materials.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
• Experience in an ISO certified system.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, fixturing, and tooling.
• Experience using an ERP system.

• Participate in the development and promotion of the HSE culture
• Be exemplary in terms of health, safety and the environment, in particular by :
o Respecting and ensuring respect for the instructions and rules established in the field of health, safety and the environment (in particular the LISI golden rules)
o Immediately correcting, whenever possible, or reporting to his or her superiors and/or the HSE department, any malfunction or risky situation in the fields of health, safety and environmental protection
o Implementing preventive actions to reduce the environmental footprint and control health and safety risks

• To be able to make proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact
Physical Demands / Working Conditions:
• Strength, agility, and movement: Work involves frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching and handling materials and parts from racks, skids, carts, & benches. Occasionally climbs to reach areas requiring inspection or to rig a part for lifting. Travel within the facility is frequent with occasional external travel.
• Level of exertion: Work ranges between light and medium consisting of occasional exertion and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Sensory ability: Good vision is required, particularly near vision for inspection and reading gages. Field of vision needs to be sufficient to work safely around the shop and properly move materials. Depth perception and hand- eye coordination need to be sufficient to effectively assemble, set- up and use gauging.
Mental Requirements:
• Reading: The ability to read and correctly interpret instructions, drawings, specifications, procedures, and computer generated data is required.
• Writing: Writing skills sufficient to prepare necessary documentation.
• Verbal skills: Verbal communication needs to be at a level consistent with providing explanations on technical matters such as feedback on what is deficient on work inspected.
• Reasoning ability: Reasoning ability needs to be at a level consistent with solving apparent problems through probing or research for precise identification.
Working Conditions:
• Occasional exposure to chemicals.
• Occasional exposure to loud noises requiring hearing protection.
• Occasional exposure to moving parts, equipment, and coolants.
• May occasionally be required to work at heights up to 20 feet.
• May occasionally travel to customer or vendor locations.
• Eye protection is required in designated areas.
• Occasional exposure to fumes requiring respiratory protection
Compensation and Benefits Overview
Starting Pay Range for this position is $24-$30/ Hour
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with applicable county or city regulations if they exceed the listed range. Actual pay rates are determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, local labor market conditions, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language proficiency, and other job-specific qualifications.
