Job description

To support Livestorm vision and steady growth, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take in charge the Cockpit scope and help our customers manage their workspaces efficiently.

The Cockpit orchestrates all critical and centralized topics such as usage, permissions, members and teams, media, analytics, templates, authentication, security, data protection, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate in a rapidly evolving space, ensuring that our users have a robust and user-friendly command center for their online events.

Our product team is currently composed of 3 Product Managers, 3 Product Designers, and 1 Product Marketing Manager. You'll work daily alongside them, Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Support Engineers. You will also collaborate on a very regular basis with other company stakeholders, including the Sales, Marketing, Growth, and Support teams. You will report to Julien, our Head of Product Management.

We are a fully remote company and the members of our team are located everywhere across Europe so we are looking for the best talent, no matter where you live.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic planning and roadmap development [25%]

    • Champion the strategic vision for the product, aligning it with business objectives and user expectations. Develop a detailed product roadmap, outlining key initiatives, timelines, and expected outcomes.

    • Employ a robust market analysis, competitive intelligence, and user research to shape strategic directions and product positioning.

  • Product delivery and specification [25%]

    • Oversee the product delivery process, from detailed specification writing to coordination with engineering and design teams for execution. Ensure clear, comprehensive requirements are established, enabling smooth development and implementation.

    • Actively participate in quality assurance processes, verifying that delivered features meet the outlined specifications and user needs, and advocating for high standards in product quality and user experience.

  • Product discovery and research [25%]

    • Lead product discovery efforts, conducting both quantitative and qualitative research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Utilize surveys, user interviews, analytics, and other research methods to gather actionable insights.

    • Translate discoveries into product improvements and new feature ideas, validating hypotheses through rapid prototyping and user testing to inform the roadmap and prioritization.

  • Data-informed decision making [10%]

    • Foster a data-driven culture within your squad, emphasizing the importance of metrics and analysis in guiding product decisions. Use engagement data, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators to assess the impact of releases and inform future development.

    • Work closely with data analysts to enhance data collection and analysis techniques, ensuring decisions are grounded in solid evidence and insights.

  • Stakeholder engagement and communication [10%]

    • Serve as the primary communicator for your product area, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, and results. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to align on product goals and initiatives.

    • Engage with external partners and customers as needed, gathering feedback and fostering relationships that contribute to product insights and validation.

  • Continuous learning and growth [5%]

    • Dedicate time to personal and professional development, staying ahead of industry trends, product management methodologies, and emerging user needs.

    • Encourage the squad’s continuous improvement and learning, sharing knowledge and fostering an environment of curiosity and innovation.
