Job description

📍 This role is based in Paris with flexible remote work.

Your mission in the team:

As a Lead Brand Manager, you will take ownership of Brand Marketing at Allianz Direct France, managing and enhancing our brand presence in the Home and Travel insurance markets. Your mission will be to drive customer acquisition, foster engagement, and build loyalty, establishing Luko by Allianz Direct as a trusted and innovative leader in the industry.

Working closely with the Allianz Direct France VP Marketing, you will develop a strong client relationship strategy, ensuring Luko by Allianz Direct stands out as a unique brand in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy

  • Develop and lead the brand strategy for the French market, aligning it with the global vision while addressing local customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities for differentiation, growth, and increased customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, Customer Experience) to ensure the brand strategy drives acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
  • Define, monitor, and report on brand performance metrics (e.g., awareness, perception, customer trust), using insights to refine strategies.
  • Champion long-term brand vision initiatives, positioning Luko as a leader in the French insurance market.

2. Operational Execution

  • Oversee and ensure consistency in brand communication and visual identity across all customer touchpoints, adhering to global guidelines.
  • Lead the creation and execution of impactful brand campaigns that resonate with target audiences and reinforce brand positioning.
  • Work closely with the Content and Communications teams to maintain a consistent and authentic brand narrative and tone of voice.
  • Act as the brand steward for the French market, ensuring compliance with global standards while integrating local nuances.
  • Drive cross-channel initiatives, including digital, print, and events, to enhance customer experiences and engagement.

3. Budget and Contracts

  • Manage the Brand budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners (e.g., brand agencies) to maximize ROI and deliver high-quality outcomes.

4. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a Brand Specialist, fostering professional growth and innovation


What do we recommend to be successful?

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience:
    • 3 to 4 years in Brand Management, Advertising, or Marketing within top-tier advertising agencies, CPG companies, or leading e-commerce/startup environments.
    • Proven expertise in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skillset:
    • A generalist background in marketing and communications, with a strong foundation in brand strategy and execution.
    • Expertise in developing and implementing brand campaigns across diverse channels.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluent in both French and English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Previous team management experience, with a track record of mentoring and leading individuals.
  • Experience working in international environments, collaborating across multiple markets.
