MaiaSpace is a European space tech company, designing, manufacturing and operating competitive and sustainable solutions for space mobility. Launch Complex Technical Coordinator & Ground Interfaces Management

As part of the “Launch & Recovery Ground Systems” team, you are in charge to manage interfaces between Launch Complex current Facilities & MaiaSpace’s Ground Systems , in close collaboration with Design Teams (Stages, Avionics/EGSE, Ground Systems,…), helping them taking into account transverse constraints (RAMS, Recurring Cost objectives, 1st Stage Reflight specificities,…).

You will act as an autonomous leader, able to listen to team’s needs, and then propose and deploy Agile & efficient ways of working allowing us to manage efficiently the Launch System operations’ definition :

  • Confirm the detailed areas and technical rooms to be used for MaiaSpace activities, including civil works adaptations, piping & harness routing, drawings update and doing so, contribute to Mechanical & Fluidical Ground System’s design
  • Manage the commissioning of Launch Complex’s mechanical & fluidics adaptation under MaiaSpace’s duties
  • Be the MaiaSpace’s focal point with the CNES exploitation Team for any technical or “facilities management” topics

These duties & tasks will lead the Launch Complex Technical Coordinator to take an active part in Test & First flights Campaign on the launch site, ultimately as member of the “Operations System Team” to be created before the beginning of first Combined Tests on the Launch Site.


Preferred experience

🛸 Specific competences & abilities:

  • Autonomous, proactive attitude towards resolution of problems
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with people from different disciplines
  • Knowledge or practice of Agile methodology
  • Good level of English
🎓 Qualification :
  • Master degree or equivalent in engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the field of Ground Systems Design, Commissioning & Mechanical or Fluidics Tests Management.
