Job description

Discover our galaxy 🪐

Since 2013, when Malt was founded by Vincent Huguet and Hugo Lassiège, we have become Europe’s fastest-growing freelance marketplace.

By acquiring Comatch (the Berlin-based leading marketplace for top freelance management consultants and industry experts) in 2022, we’re now home to a dynamic community of 550k+ freelancers, 70k+ companies, and 700+ Malters.

We’ve built the industry’s leading freelance management solution — all on a powerful, data driven tech platform — to match companies with the right freelance talent.

But we’re more than just a connector. Our marketplace streamlines freelancer-client communications, simplifies administrative and legal tasks, expedites invoicing and payments, and so much more.

Today, our company is growing fast! We need people like you to help us write this next chapter.

We are a tech company with a human approach 👽

- Strong company culture fueled by 700+ Malters from 40 countries

- Offices and teams in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the Middle East

- Committed to equality and diversity (50% of people managers are women)

- Strong career path policies allowing all Malters to develop and grow equally

- Backed by renowned investors including ISAI, Eurazeo Growth, Goldman Sachs and BPI France

- Recognized twice by LinkedIn as one of the best start-ups to work at

Becoming part of Malt's Corporate IT team means stepping into a role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring our teams can work in a high-performing, seamless, and secure IT environment. Every day, you’ll support our teams and help optimize our tools and processes.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Every day IT support:
  • You’ll be the go-to person for solving technical issues for our team members, whether on-site in Paris or remotely. With your expertise and people skills, you’ll handle tickets, assist with tools, and train users to become more autonomous.
  • Technical event management:
  • From “All Hands” meetings to internal events, you’ll oversee the technical setup—testing and configuring tools like Zoom, microphones, cameras, and audio systems—to deliver a top-notch experience.
  • Onboarding and offboarding:
  • You’ll play a crucial role in welcoming new team members by preparing their workstations, setting up access to tools (Okta, Slack, Google Suite, etc.), and walking them through our IT environment. You’ll also ensure smooth offboarding by handling equipment and access retrieval.
  • IT asset and admin management:
  • You’ll manage access rights, permissions, and IT tools while keeping a close eye on our inventory (via Snipe IT). Our fleet includes 75% MacBooks, 20% Windows, and 5% Linux devices, managed with MDM solutions like Kandji and Miradore.
  • Contributing to IT projects:
  • You’ll collaborate with the team on initiatives to improve tools, IT processes, or our overall IT environment. Weekly team meeting to identify and solve the sticking points. These projects are a great opportunity to introduce innovative solutions that benefit the company and help you grow professionally.
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You love solving technical problems and providing tailored solutions.
  • You speak French and English fluently.
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy helping others.
  • You’re curious, proactive, and full of ideas.
  • You’re comfortable working with Apple (MacBooks) and Windows systems and have basic knowledge of Linux.
  • You’re familiar with or eager to learn tools like Okta, Slack, Google Suite, Jira, Kandji, Miradore, and Snipe IT.
  • You have 3 years of IT support experience. Most importantly, your motivation and drive to improve will make all the difference!
  • You are available to work onsite (5 days per week) from our Paris office.
  • How to join the mission? 🚀

  • Screening with Alex, Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (45 minutes)
  • Interview with Lionel, our IT lead to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (60 minutes)
  • Technical Interview with the IT squad (60 minutes)
  • Final interview with Benoit to discuss Malt’s long term vision.
  • Malt is the perfect space to thrive personally and professionally 💫

    - Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other onboardees at our office in Paris

    - Equity: Every Malter is entitled to stock options

    - Lunch vouchers (legal benefit): €9/day on your Swile card.

    - Transportation (legal benefit): 50% reimbursement (any type of transport)

    - RTT: From 8 to 12 days off

    - Sports: company participation to a Gymlib membership

    - Malt sabbatical: After three years, every Malter is entitled to a one month paid sabbatical leave.

    - Free books: If you’re interested in learning more about any topic relevant to Malt’s business, just tell us the books you’d like to read, and we’ll order them for you—without any questions asked or approval processes to follow.

    - Annual team building events
