Join L’Oréal’s dynamic IT Legal Department as a key player supporting our cutting-edge Beauty Tech initiatives! Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel IT, as a Beauty Tech Legal Counsel, you’ll ensure legal compliance while driving innovation in the exciting world of beauty technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel & Negotiate

  • Act as a strategic legal advisor to Beauty Tech teams, providing clear and practical guidance on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of IT commercial contracts, including SaaS/IaaS/PaaS subscriptions, on-prem software licenses, outsourcing agreements, and professional services contracts.
  • Confidently negotiate with leading IT vendors and service providers, securing optimal terms for L’Oréal


Ensure Compliance & Manage Risk
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Security, and Contract Manager to develop and implement effective processes and policies.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all IT projects, including by partnering with other legal teams.


Collaborate & Educate
  • Conduct training sessions for Beauty Tech teams and other L’Oréal departments on relevant IT legal matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standard Group contractual documentation.
  • Actively participate in legal working groups, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues globally.


Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT lawyer in private practice or in-house.
  • Master’s degree in Law, specializing in Contract and IT law (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IT contract law and business law.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex IT transaction.
  • Solid background in data protection law and an ability to apply that knowledge in a practical and pragmatic way.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
  • Genuine interest in technology and a passion for innovation.
  • Good awareness of the legal function role and ability to contribute actively to the client decision-making process.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues professionally and concisely.
