Job Description:

The Senior Reporting & Insights TA Specialist at Mars Inc. plays a crucial role in driving business intelligence initiatives tailored for Talent Acquisition (TA).

This pivotal position involves crafting and maintaining sophisticated tools that deliver top-tier insights and analyses, empowering stakeholders within the People & Organization (P&O) department. By fostering enhanced data literacy and analytics prowess, the specialist enables informed decision-making. Key responsibilities encompass generating high-quality reports and dashboards in workday & PowerBI, seamlessly integrating diverse data sources in alignment with P&O data models and organizational needs. Beyond mere data organization and presentation, the specialist synthesizes insights, identifies patterns, trends, and recommends actionable strategies. A central objective is to cultivate a user-centric reporting service, fostering a culture of analytics and insights throughout the P&O organization, thus driving capability enhancement and cultural transformation.

  • Minimum qualification: university degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Management Systems
  • Preferred qualification: combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience using daily an HCM/ Workday and/ or equivalent.
  • Advance knowledge in Excel, PowerBI and other standard reporting and visualisation tools (ability to keep informed about leading edge technologies and their application to P&O and workforce metrics)
  • Understand how people PPPs work and support our business ambition. Demonstrate curiosity and strong appetite and ability to learn
  • Successful experience in producing and using HR metrics/reporting and workforce planning
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information from different sources with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and take initiative/ ownership, adaptive and flexible to new ideas and change
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Understand how organisation works and what matters to business leaders
  • Ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) and interact effectively with all level of management and partners extremely well with others to get work done

Insights

  • In partnership with functional & process leads (COE and Global Process Leads/ P&O Solutions team), design & align on a roadmap of deployment of the new reporting and insights solutions for the defined domain, govern and validate new requirements and ensure the execution.
  • Act as the single reporting & insights point of contact (SPOC) for Talent acquisition area.

Reporting & Enablement

  • Lead the delivery of an exceptional partner service by implementing strategic reporting insights through self-service and automated solutions, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal processes.
  • Building & developing effective solutions using a range of data transformation & analytic tools in response to business requirements (workday reporting/Prism/PowerBI dashboard ..)
  • Maintain 100% compliance with established processes, while actively reducing the number of outstanding tickets and ad-hoc requests.

  • Design, build and document standardized reporting & dashboarding solutions & offer, with proactive approach fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team, listening our partners and their needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and contribute to team initiatives for efficiency gains, simplify & enhancement the user experience.

Leadership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Workday platform (for TA or any Mars Signature Processes)
  • Provide consultation to stakeholders served at all phases of the process/project and identify the right data & methodology needed given the business challenge/ request. 
  • Leading the TA functional reporting as a thought leader and trusted expert to deliver strategic outcomes and business value, providing analytical reporting and insight support.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence and drive acceptance of change across the organization.
