The position

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Specialist/Manager to work closely with our senior leadership team, providing critical insights that will help to shape the strategic direction of Mattoni 1873 across Europe.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • M&A Target Modeling: Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential acquisition targets. Your work will focus on identifying synergies, commercial impact, and integration cost efficiencies, directly influencing strategic decisions.

  • Due Diligence Execution: Oversee the full due diligence process, including data mining in Virtual Data Rooms, preparing detailed Information Request Lists, and managing Q&A processes. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure efficient information exchange and project delivery.

  • Target Research/Market scanning: Identify potential acquisition targets aligned with our Group’s strategic objectives. Maintain the prospects list. Develop relationships with various M&A players.

  • Market Monitoring: Provide regular macroeconomic and segment-specific (European Food & Beverages market) analysis / information focused on actual needs and strategy of the Group.

  • Company Insights: Prepare regular analytical insights on the main competitors, selected customers and suppliers to help internal benchmarking and decision making.


Preferred experience

What do we require?

  • University degree in Finance, Management or related field

  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. M&A advisory, preferably with Big 4 background)

  • Strong analytical skills with proven proficiency in financial modeling and valuation

  • Knowledge of data mining and the preparation of due diligence documentation

  • Experience in M&A transactions, ideally within the F&B sector

  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams

  • Fluency in English is required, Czech/Slovak is an advantage
