About May:

May’s ambition is to become Europe’s #1 digital healthcare service for parents and parents-to-be. May develop a mobile application dedicated to supporting (future) parents during pregnancy and infancy. With customised features and advice from healthcare professionals, our mission is to enable them to experience motherhood with confidence.

450k parents and future parents are already using the May app, and we still have millions more to convince!

May is an impact startup that has just raised a Series A round of 7 million euros from prestigious French and European VCs (Eurazeo, Serena, Ring).

Main responsibilities:

As Country Launcher for the UK, you will be responsible for launching and developing May’s presence on the UK market. You will work closely with the Communication and Growth teams to adapt the strategy and application to this new market.

Your tasks will include:

  • Market research: Analyse trends in the UK market in terms of parenting and digital health;

  • Strategic development: Identify local partnerships with healthcare professionals, influencers and media;

  • Social networks: Manage May’s Instagram account in the UK, drawing on the resources of the French account.

  • Press relations: Select a local agency and work with it on a daily basis to promote May in the UK.

  • User acquisition (paid): Participate in the creation of advertisements dedicated to the UK market using the in-house graphic design team or in collaboration with agencies;

  • KPI monitoring: Analyse launch performance and adjust strategy based on results.


Preferred experience

  • English-speaking student or recent graduate from an international business school or other grande école (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Sciences Po…);

  • Previous experience in France and good command of French.

The following skills and qualities will be essential to succeed in this role:

  • Language: Native English;

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently;

  • Knowledge of the UK market and its specific features;

  • Interest in communication and marketing issues;

  • Interest in the tech and parenting sectors is a plus.
