Position Overview
Location: Paris (France) 
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Computer Vision Engineer to join our Propershot team at Meero, focusing on our real estate product line (B2B & B2C). As part of an agile, startup-like team of 11 people within Meero, you will be an integral part of training real estate-specific foundation models that will allow us to reimagine properties using state-of-the-art GenAI techniques. Through these models, you will contribute to refining and expanding our existing tools, such as Magic Eraser and GenAI-driven home staging, and beyond.
You will take ownership of key technical decisions and shape the future direction of our AI solutions. Your expertise in developing algorithms, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with a team of experts will help reshape how the real estate industry presents its properties. AI Solutions for Real Estate: We provide an exciting suite of AI-powered tools that transform the way real estate agents enhance and present their listings. Here’s what we offer:

• AI-based Interior Color Adjustment and Sky Replacement: Including Color Enhancement and Correction, Sky Replacement, and Image Straightening. These tools ensure that property images have optimal lighting, accurate colors, and visually appealing aesthetics.

• AI HomeStaging: Our GenAI-driven home staging tool creates beautifully staged interiors of empty or already furnished apartments, allowing buyers to visualize the full potential of a space without physical staging.
• Wall Painting and Floor Replacement: Our GenAI-based tools seamlessly paint walls or replace the floor in interior pictures.

Listing Generation: Our LLM-powered feature automatically generates listings for Real Estate agents by extracting relevant information from our client’s pictures and by extracting key information about the surroundings of the property.

You will lead end-to-end projects, from concept development to deployment, and have full ownership of the feature lifecycle. This includes defining the technical roadmap, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

 Requirements

• Preferred PhD degree in Machine Learning or Computer Vision, with a strong focus on GenAI.
• Strong Expertise in Machine Learning and AI: Experience in training and optimizing deep learning models, particularly in computer vision or generative AI.
• Hands-On Experience with Generative Diffusion Models: Previous experience with fine-tuning algorithms for generating or editing visual content in images.
• Knowledge of Computer Vision Techniques: Proficiency in advanced image processing techniques, including enhancement, segmentation, and photorealistic editing.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks (PyTorch, numpy…).
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Eagerness to tackle complex challenges and contribute innovative ideas to the development of our AI ecosystem.
• Strong English Communication Skills: Both written and verbal proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Large Datasets: Ability to work with large-scale image datasets, including data augmentation, preprocessing, and management.
• Good knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git), containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Both English and French Communication Skills: Written and verbal.
• Is a plus: Contribution to open source projects in the computer vision or GenAI field.
