The position

Job description

As a Power Platform Officer, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the Microsoft Power Platform environment within our organization.

You will be responsible for leveraging the Power Platform to automate processes, build applications, and provide data insights that drive efficiency and productivity across various departments.

You will report directly to the Head of Technology.

Description

Power Platform Administration & Development:

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

  • Manage user access, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Design and develop Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and streamline operations.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Integrate data from various sources into the Power Platform, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Implement data modelling and transformations within Dataverse or other data sources.

  • Build interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI for data-driven decision-making.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish governance policies and best practices for Power Platform usage, including version control and change management.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, etc., when handling sensitive data.

Preferred experience

Requirements

  • Proven multi-year experience with data management

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools
    (i.e., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse)

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365

  • Proven experience with design and implementation of Data Governance

  • Knowledge of the GDPR and other Data Privacy frameworks and their impact on data management

  • Full proficiency in English

Advantage

  • University degree in IT, statistics, or mathematics strongly preferred

  • Ability to design effective reports for various stakeholders
