The position

Job description

As the Security Engineer in the team of experienced IT Security experts, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing standard SOC (security operations center) procedures and tuning our security tools for maximum efficiency.

On this position you will report to the Security Team Leader, and you will be in medior’s position within the team in level of expertise.

Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect organizational assets and data according to internal best practices

  • Serve as a deeply skilled and knowledgeable resource within the Sentinel SIEM technology area

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures

  • Be the escalation point of more complex security incidents and provide guidance to Security Analysts

  • Participate actively in security projects

  • Conduct assessments of application permissions within the environment

  • Configure and optimize the SIEM system, developing and maintaining dashboards, alerts, reports, and use cases to detect and respond to security threats.

Preferred experience

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Information-security function

  • Experience with Microsoft Security solutions

  • Familiarity with various security tools and platforms (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, anti-virus)

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, designs, and operations

Advantage

  • Experience with security frameworks, standards, and best practices
    (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
